Breakfast and lunch menu items are curated and sourced keeping local produce and seasonal dishes in mind, as well as ethically and organically sourced where possible. What can be made from scratch in house, will be made in house. From colourful salads to crispy bacon, the kitchen is open from 7:30am to 3:00pm. For those that are vegetarian and/or gluten free, there are VG and GF options available on the menu, and of course some menu items can be made to be vegetarian or gluten free on request.
A multitude of breads sourced for the Long John’s menu are from Meeniyan’s own Pandesal artisanal bakery. Well known in the area by locals and visitors alike, their handcrafted bread and range of sweets are well worth travelling for! As well as baguettes and ‘jogga’ fruit loafs, their danishes, donuts, ‘cruffins’ and croissants can usually be found selling out almost as fast as they go on display.
Other than delicious coffee, Long John’s boasts a range of ‘Raw’ milkshake flavours, Karma soft drinks, organic juices, kombucha varieties, beers, spirits and wines (by both the glass and by the bottle). Don’t forget about the fresh fruit smoothies either, flavours include acai & berry, tropical & mint, peanut butter, lean green and raspberry & black garlic. You certainly won’t go thirsty in Fish Creek.
